We, Fenton and Leah Hyde, launched Haus of Hyde in 2015. It was built on a bond between a passion for interiors and a drive to create something to call our own. Inspired by our grandparent’s effortless style, combined talents and fierce independence, Haus of Hyde was always in our blood. Why “Haus”, not “House”? It’s simple! “Haus” is a nod to our Austrian heritage. We thought it important to recognise our history, after all, this is a family affair.
In recent years, the mainstream of online homewares has become increasingly repetitive, with its lacklustre style and catalogue imagery. Then there’s us. Standing proud alongside all the other small interior businesses and sticking strong to our ideas and aesthetic. Woven into the very fabric of Haus of Hyde, are family traditions, history and iconic style that reflect the longevity of our brand. Put it this way, we definitely don’t know it all, but we sure know what looks good in your home and how you can achieve it. Haus of Hyde is our passion and we want you to be involved. It’s an immersive experience, designed for you, the interior lover, to shop, gather inspiration, admire the creativity of others and, of course, enjoy.
Our creative buyers have hand picked a selection of grown up, luxe accessories and furniture, with each piece chosen on the basis that we would be proud to show it off in our own home. We focus on delivering you with stylish pieces, of high quality and longevity to transform your space into your own personal paradise that will stand the test of trends. Our homewares, at a price, that mirrors the personal touch of an independent boutique whilst bringing the affordability of more special home touches.
We would describe our style as transitional, with a timeless aesthetic, inspired by our love of 1960s and 1970s hedonistic culture. Our key themes channel fashion, travel, freedom of expression and our love of retro imagery. Know us for our eye for detail and, distinctive styling and photography. We always keep it simple. Each item speaks for itself – how you style it is up to you.
In a world of ever changing trends, our goal is to bring you a blog that you can call home. Let our distinctive photography be the initial inspiration, get in the mood with our monthly mood boards and get your dose of house porn on our Haus-piration page.
As well as all of this, to give you guys the all-round experience, we interview a range of creative individuals. Our goal is to connect you with the creative industries influencers and give you an insight into their day to day working life. Check out their “personal space”.
So, fully immerse yourselves, in the Haus of Hyde, laid back, lifestyle and interiors experience.

Depending on the day we’re either chalk and cheese or two peas in a pod. One of those days in between we decided that we would work together to create something to call our own.
The Very Beginning
We combined our talents and ideas and visualized Haus of Hyde.
The first shoot was based in an eclectic location in London that embodied our style. It brought our Autumn/Winter 15 range to life.
We collaborated with Verb for our slick, easy to use web design. We wanted a site that was a direct reflection of our brand. Simple, trend lasting, stylish and relaxed. We think they did good!
Haus of Hyde isn’t about having a perfect home. It’s about being yourself and having fun. So we thought we’d launch with a party! How else? Our vision is to bring our customers an all round interiors experience. We let you lust over inspiring spaces, peak into the lives of other creative addicts, be teased by the latest updates in home décor and shop for the ideal pieces to make your home seriously pleasing on the eye.
Through the seasons
We’ve been privileged to shoot in a variety of locations over the last couple of years. All super stylish and inspirational in their own right. Perfect for every season we’ve launched here at Haus of Hyde!
It’s been a busy 2017, with the launch of new items, multiple shoot locations, a full blog and buzzing social media. Plus the highlight of working with Elizabeth Ilsley and Louisa Warfield, to name a few.
We hope you’ve enjoyed the added extras? Peeking into the home of our Creative Director and following our daily discount advent calendar over on Instagram?
Before you know it it’s the end of the year and we’re busy prepping for 2018! We’ve got so many exciting things lined up, so keep following!
Thank you to all of you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
